Sien Josephine Teijssen, CSA

Sien Josephine has a degree in Law from the University of Antwerp. She worked in a variety of legal areas before starting a career in casting in 2011, eventually founding Sien Josephine Casting in 2015, working across film and television.

As a casting director, Sien Josephine understands the importance of building strong relationships with actors, agents, and filmmakers. She takes a collaborative approach to casting, working closely with directors and producers to ensure that each project has the perfect cast.

Sien Josephine lives in Antwerp, Belgium with her beloved cat Marcel and is a member of the Casting Society, the International Casting Directors Association and the European Film Academy and a board member of the Ostend Film Festival, where she serves on the Committee for Diversity and Inclusion as well as the Committee for Young Talent.
